ಗುಡಿಸಲೇನೊಣಹುಲ್ಲು ಕಡ್ಡಿ ಮಣ್ಣೆನ್ನುತಲಿ । ಬಡವನಲಿ ಕೊರತೆಗಳ ನೆಡುವುದರಿದಲ್ಲ ॥ ಕೆಡಿಸಿದಾ ಗುಡಿಸಿಲಿನ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಮತ್ತೆಂತು । ಕೊಡಲಹುದವಂಗೆ ನೀಂ? - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೭೨ ॥

ಗುಡಿಸಲನ್ನು ‘ ಅದೇನು ಮಹಾ!!! ಒಣಹುಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದ, ಕಡ್ಡಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ’ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಾತ್ಸಾರದಿಂದ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಹೀನಾಯವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡು ಆ ಗುಡಿಸಲನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಕೆಡಿಸಿದರೆ, ಆ ಗುಡಿಸಿಲಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯನ್ನು, ಮತ್ಯಾವುದರಿಂದಲಾದರೂ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ? ಎಂದು, ಅವರವರ ಸುಖ ಸಾಧನ ಅವರವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಎನ್ನುವಂತಹ ಸೂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅರುಹಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.
