ನೆಲದ ಬೇಸಾಯ ತಾನೊಳ್ಳಿತಾಗಿರೆ ನಿನಗೆ । ಫಲದೆಂತಹುದೆಂಬ ಶಂಕೆಗೆಡೆಯುಂಟೆ? ॥ ಒಳಿತರೊಳೆ ನೀಂ ಬಾಳು; ಪರವದೆಂತಿರ್ದೊಡೇಂ? । ಇಳೆಯೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಪರಕೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೭ ॥

ಹೇಗೆ, ರೈತ ತನ್ನ ನೆಲದ ಬೇಸಾಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ‘ ಫಸಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೋ? ‘ ಎನ್ನುವ ಅನುಮಾನ ಪದಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನದಿಂದ ಬಾಳಿದರೆ ಬದುಕಿನ ನಂತರ ಎಂತಹ ಫಲಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆಯೋ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಜೀವನವೇ ಪರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು.
