ನಾನೆಂಬುದೊಂದಂಶವಿತರ ಜಗವೊಂದಂಶ । ನಾನು ನೀನುಗಳಳಿದ ಸರ್ವೈಕ್ಯವೊಂದು ॥ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತೈಕ್ಯವನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವುದುಭಯವನು । ಜಾಣಿನಾ ನಾಟಕವೊ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೭೯೩ ॥
nAnembudu ondamshavu itare jagavu ondamsha । nAnu nInugaLu aLida sarvaikyavondu ॥ dhyAnisutta aikyavanu pAlisuvudu ubhavanu । jANInA nATakavo - Mankutimma ॥ 793 ॥
ನಾನು ಎಂಬುದು ಒಂದು ಅಂಶ. ನಾವಿರುವ, ಈ ಜಗತ್ತು ಎಂಬುದು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಅಂಶ. ನಾನು ನೀನು ಎಂಬ ಬೇಧವು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಐಕ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಒಂದಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಭೇಧಗಳಿರುವ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅಂತಹ ‘ಸರ್ವೈಕ್ಯ’ವನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುವುದು, ಜಾಣತನದ ನಾಟಕ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.
One part of the creation is me. All other parts of the creation is another part. There is a universal truth where all difference between self and the rest is lost. Having mind set on that truth but living happily in this dual world is a wise drama to act. - Mankutimma
