ಪುಲಿ ಸಿಂಗದುಚ್ಛ್ವಾಸ,ಹಸು ಹುಲ್ಲೆ ಹಯದುಸಿರು । ಹುಳು ಹಾವಿಲಿಯ ಸುಯ್ಲು, ಹಕ್ಕಿ ಹದ್ದುಯ್ಲು ॥ ಕಲೆತಿರ್ಪುವೀಯೆಲ್ಲ ನಾಮುಸಿರ್ವೆಲರಿನಲಿ । ಕಲಬರಿಕೆ ಜಗದುಸಿರು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೧೩೧ ॥
puli singada ucChvAsa, hasu hulle hayada usiru । huLu hAvu iliya suylu, hakki haddu uylu ॥ kaletirpuvu Iyella nAm usirva elarinali । kalabarike jagada usiru - Mankutimma ॥ 131 ॥
ಹುಲಿ, ಸಿಂಹ, ಹಸು, ಜಿಂಕೆ, ಕುದುರೆ, ಹುಳು, ಹಾವು, ಇಲಿ , ಹಕ್ಕಿ, ಹದ್ದು ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಉಸಿರಾಡುವ ಗಾಳಿಯೇ ನಾವು ಉಸಿರಾಡುವ ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆತುಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಉಸಿರು ಕಲಬೆರಕೆ ಉಸಿರು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.
