ಹೊರಗೆ, ವಿಶ್ವದಿನಾಚೆ, ದೂರದಲಿ, ನೀಲದಲಿ । ಒಳಗೆ, ಹೃತ್ಕೂಪದಾಳದಲಿ, ಮಸಕಿನಲಿ ॥ ನೆಲೆಗಳಿಂತೆರಡು ಮೂಲ ರಹಸ್ಯಕವುಗಳುಲಿ । ಕಲೆತಂದು ನೀಂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೯೨ ॥

ಹೊರಗೆ, ಎಂದರೆ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಪರಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ಆಚೆ, ದೂರದಲಿ, ಗಗನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರಹಸ್ಯಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಒಳಗೆ, ಎಂದರೆ ಹೃದಯಾಂತರಾಳದಲಿ, ಮಸುಕುಮಸುಕಾಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎರಡೂ ಕಲೆತು ಒಂದಾದಾಗ ನಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾಗುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು.
