ಮೂಲವಸ್ತುವದೊಂದು ಲೀಲೆಗೋಸುಗ ನೂರು । ಕಾಲದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಹುಳ ಕೇವಲದೊಳೇಕ ॥ ಸ್ಥೂಲವಿವಿಧದಿ ಬಾಳಿ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮಸಾಮ್ಯವ ತಾಳಿ । ಆಳುತಿರು ಜೀವನವ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೧೪೨ ॥
mUlavastuvu adondu lIlegosuga nUru । kAla dRuShTige bahuLa kEvaladoLu Eka ॥ sthUla vividhadi bALi sUkShma sAmyava tALi । ALutiru jIvanava - Mankutimma ॥ 142 ॥
ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಮೂಲ ವಸ್ತುವು ಒಂದೇ. ಆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ತನ್ನ ಲೀಲಾ ವಿನೋದಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ತಾನು ಹಲವಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕಾಲದ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡರೂ ಅದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೇ. ಸ್ಥೂಲವಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಹಲವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳಿದರೂ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ರೂಪದಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಸಾಮ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರುತ್ತಾ ಆ ಆತ್ಮನೇ ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

But if watched in totality of space and time, they are all one and the same. One must lead the life in this coarse world which is compartmentalized.
