ಭಿತ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿಲ್ಲದಿರೆ ಚಿತ್ರವೆಂತಿರಲಹುದು? । ಚಿತ್ರವಿಲ್ಲದ ಭಿತ್ತಿ ಸೊಗಸಹುದದೆಂತು? ॥ ನಿತ್ಯ ಸತ್ತ್ವವೆ ಭಿತ್ತಿ, ಜೀವಿತ ಕ್ಷಣಚಿತ್ರ । ತತ್ತ್ವವೀ ಸಂಬಂಧ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೧೦೫ ॥
bhittiyondu illadire chitraventiralahudu । chitravillada bhitti sogasahudadentu? ॥ nitya sattvave bhitti, jIvita kshaNachitra । tattvavI sambandha - Mankutimma ॥ 105 ॥
ಒಂದು ಚಿತ್ರ ಬರೆಯಲು ಗೋಡೆಯೊಂದು ಬೇಕು. ಗೋಡೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಚಿತ್ರವಿರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಚಿತ್ರವಿಲ್ಲದ ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಸೊಗಸೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯಾದ ಆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ಸತ್ವವು ನಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯವಾದ ಗೋಡೆಯಾಗಿರಲು, ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವು ಆ ಗೋಡೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆದ ಒಂದು ಚಿತ್ರವಷ್ಟೇ. ಈ ತತ್ವದಿಂದಲೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನುವುದೇ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರ, ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದ ಹೂರಣ.
